Once you've submitted your details for verification, you can't edit them yourself, so sign in at support.kraken.com.

Open the Change account info form, select your account type and pick "Phone number" under Account information type.

Why the line type matters

Can I use SMS codes to sign in to Kraken?
Kraken's sign-in 2FA uses passkeys, security keys and authenticator apps, and its security guide tells you to replace SMS 2FA with passkeys wherever you can. Your phone number stays part of your verified account details.
Will Kraken call me on my number?
Kraken publishes no dial-in support number; a Call us option may appear in the Support tab of its apps. Treat any unsolicited call claiming to be Kraken as a scam, and never share a 2FA code.
Does a U.S. number change Kraken's verification?
No. Kraken verifies your account with your own personal details and documents, and which services you get depends on where you live.
