Why the line type matters
Messaging apps often check whether a number is mobile, landline or VoIP before sending a code, and many turn VoIP numbers away. TwinNumber numbers are registered as mobile.

Will my contacts know I changed numbers?
Your groups are always notified; contacts are told only if you turn on Notify contacts. Blocked contacts stay blocked and are not told.
Can I keep my U.S. WhatsApp after moving abroad?
Yes, the account stays tied to the number, not your location. Just keep a number you control, because losing it without using Change number means losing the account.
Can I change my number on WhatsApp Web?
No, Change number only works on your primary phone, and backups made with the old number cannot restore to the new one.
