Why the line type matters
Messaging apps often check whether a number is mobile, landline or VoIP before sending a code, and many turn VoIP numbers away. TwinNumber numbers are registered as mobile.

Do I lose my chats when I change numbers on Telegram?
No, Telegram keeps your contacts, messages and cloud media, plus your Secret Chats on all devices.
Who can see my number on Telegram?
By default only people you have added as contacts; anyone who already has your number saved will also see it. Usernames let others message you without it.
Can I get login codes without SMS?
Telegram may send them to your logged-in apps, but it says that is not a substitute for keeping an up-to-date number you control.
Do I need to live in the U.S.?
