ViberQuestions
Will I need a friend to verify a new WeChat account?
Sometimes. WeChat may ask an existing user to scan a QR code to help you register, or let you verify with a payment card or WeChat Pay instead.
Can I remove my number from WeChat?
Only by linking a different one: WeChat now requires a mobile number on every account, and each number can be linked to just one WeChat ID.
Can I sign up for WeChat with a virtual number?
No. WeChat lists registering with a virtual phone number, such as Google Voice or Skype In, as a reason accounts get blocked. TwinNumber numbers are registered as mobile.
Do I need to live in the U.S.?
No. TwinNumber works from 150+ countries with just a browser and an internet connection.
Is TwinNumber affiliated with WeChat?
No. We test our numbers with popular services and publish the results. WeChat is a trademark of its owner.
What if a code doesn't arrive?
