What TikTok Shop uses your number for
- You can sign up for Seller Center with your phone number and the code it sends you.
- Every seller must link a phone number and turn on two-step verification, or withdrawals may go on hold.
- A phone number already used to open another shop cannot open a new one.
Add your TwinNumber on TikTok Shop
- 01
Open My Profile
In Seller Center, click your shop profile icon at the top right and open My Profile.
- 02
Change the number
Under Account Information > Login Information, select Change next to your phone number and follow the verification steps.
- 03
Check two-step verification
Go to Account Security > Two-Step Verification and make sure it is turned on.
Why the line type matters
Marketplaces often check whether a number is mobile, landline or VoIP before sending a code, and many turn VoIP numbers away. TwinNumber numbers are registered as mobile.

Can I open a TikTok Shop from outside the U.S.?
Not as a U.S. individual seller. TikTok Shop's guide says applicants must live in the U.S., be at least 18, show a U.S. ID such as a passport, driver's license or permanent resident card, and give the last four digits of an SSN or ITIN.
What if I skip two-step verification?
TikTok Shop says your ability to withdraw funds may be put on hold if you don't set it up within 30 days of the first notice. Once it is on, restrictions are usually lifted within 24 hours.
I lost access to my old number. Can I still change it?
Yes. TikTok Shop's help says to log in with your email and follow the same steps to update the number. If you've lost access to both, contact customer service.
Is TwinNumber affiliated with TikTok Shop?
No. We test our numbers with popular services and publish the results. TikTok Shop is a trademark of its owner.
What if a code doesn't arrive?
Request a new code, then check your inbox and notification settings. If it keeps failing, contact us and we'll look into it.
