Why the line type matters
Travel and ride apps often check whether a number is mobile, landline or VoIP before sending a code, and many turn VoIP numbers away. TwinNumber numbers are registered as mobile.
Why banks reject Google Voice →Questions
Will my Vrbo host see my number?
It can. Vrbo's privacy statement says it shares your details with vacation-rental owners and managers to complete your booking, and they may contact you about it. With a TwinNumber on your account, your host gets your U.S. number instead of your personal one.
How do I reach my host if they don't reply?
Open My Trips and select your upcoming trip to find the host's contact details. If check-in is less than 24 hours away and you haven't heard from them, Vrbo customer support will try to reach the host for you.
Can my host call me on my TwinNumber?
Not yet. TwinNumber receives text messages today, and calls aren't available yet. Texts from Vrbo and your host reach your browser; for a call, give your host another number.
Do I need to live in the U.S.?
No. TwinNumber works from 150+ countries with just a browser and an internet connection.
Is TwinNumber affiliated with Vrbo?
No. We test our numbers with popular services and publish the results. Vrbo is a trademark of its owner.
What if a code doesn't arrive?
Request a new code, then check your inbox and notification settings. If it keeps failing, contact us and we'll look into it.
