Add your TwinNumber on Hinge
- 01
Pick a lasting number
Hinge does not let members change the number on an account, so sign up with one you will keep.
- 02
Contact Hinge support
If you lose that number, write to support with the old number and your written OK to delete the account.
- 03
Start a new account
Once the old account is deleted, sign up again with your current number.
Why the line type matters
Dating apps often check whether a number is mobile, landline or VoIP before sending a code, and many turn VoIP numbers away. TwinNumber numbers are registered as mobile.

Can I change my phone number on Hinge?
No, Hinge does not allow it for security reasons. If you lose access to the number, support can delete the old account so you can start over, and that deletion is permanent.
Why is my Hinge verification code not arriving?
Hinge lists a mistyped number, carrier message blocking and some prepaid plans as common causes, and after several failed tries it locks verification for at least 24 hours.
Can people I know block me by my number?
Yes, the Block List lets someone block a contact by phone number or email, and it works when that matches what you signed up with.
Do I need to live in the U.S.?
No. TwinNumber works from 150+ countries with just a browser and an internet connection.
Is TwinNumber affiliated with Hinge?
No. We test our numbers with popular services and publish the results. Hinge is a trademark of its owner.
What if a code doesn't arrive?
Request a new code, then check your inbox and notification settings. If it keeps failing, contact us and we'll look into it.
