Edit the phone number in your contact information and follow the prompts to verify it.

In Sign in and security, select Edit, then Set up two-step verification and choose phone.

Online stores often check whether a number is mobile, landline or VoIP before sending a code, and many turn VoIP numbers away. TwinNumber numbers are registered as mobile.

Do I have to verify my number to get Target codes by text?
Yes. Target's guide says your mobile number must be verified before two-step verification codes can go to it by text.
Will Target text me when my pickup order is ready?
Target's help says it emails you when an Order Pickup or Drive Up order is ready, and you can turn on push notifications in the app. Texts come from Same Day Delivery shoppers working out substitutions with you.
Do I need to live in the U.S.?
